FAQs
1. Are there any fixed date courses?
No. Anyone who decides to study with us has a special course arranged
for the period they choose.
2. Are all courses one-to-one?
No. We also run courses for groups from 2 to 30+ students. However,
these groups will nearly always be pre-formed; in other words, a
group of friends or colleagues from the same company or students
from the same school decide to come and study together with Excellence
in English. What is crucial is that the group is happy to study
together. We do not form groups: you do!
3. What is the age range?
Our courses are primarily for adults, but see below.
4. Does only one teacher teach a course?
No, a minimum of two.
5. How do I apply to come on an EiE course?
E-mail or fax us, using the form provided, and as soon as we have
received your application form we will contact you to begin negotiating
your course.
6. How much are Eie courses?
Prices vary according to the course you choose and the season you
come in, but, as an illustration, a closed group course for
10 people
with 15 hours' tuition, homestay accommodation, sports and cultural
programme and excursions costs from £300 per person per
week; a one-to-one course from £450 per week. A teenage
activity course, with English language tuition, outdoor activities,
excursions
and social programme, costs approximately £380 per person
per week.
7. What does the fee include?
All tuition; accommodation; meals as negotiated; social programme;
materials; transfer to and from Norwich airport; fax and e-mail
follow-up after the
course.
8. Do you run any other kinds of courses?
Yes, we also organise courses of English and outdoor activities
for groups of school-age teenagers, where pupils stay in adventure
centre or school accommodation and have a mixed programme of English
study and leisure activities, sometimes with English school
pupils. We will also come and teach you in your country.
