There are various options when it comes to finding accommodation for your EIE course. The sections below describe what can be arranged.
Family Homestay Accommodation
Staying with a family is one of the best ways of immersing yourself in English and making regular progress in the language. We have a network of carefully selected homestay hosts who live in comfortable and well-equipped homes. They all enjoy meeting people, are good cooks and will make you feel welcome in their home.
You will have your own room, with study facilities, and often your own bathroom. Half-board accommodation on a 5-day or 7-day basis generally suits most students.
Self-catering Accommodation
If you prefer a greater degree of independence, or are on a tight budget, self-catering accommodation could suit you well. Some of our homestay families have self-contained accommodation available. Please contact us for more details.
For those who would like to stay in a more remote, rural location and have their own car (or we can arrange car hire for you), Oak Tree Barn or Studio Cottage, next to Catherine de Lara's farmhouse, offer comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Please see the website: www.oaktreebarn.co.uk for more information.
Local Hotel or Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
Choosing to stay in one of the delightful local hotels, guesthouses or Bed & Breakfasts on the coast, in the countryside or in one of the charming North Norfolk coastal towns or villages is a further option for Excellence in English students.
This will give you an opportunity to sample locally sourced food, good English beer and excellent sea food (North Norfolk is renowned for crab, lobster and shellfish).
