HOMESTAY TOWN (CROMER).

We have a network of carefully selected and welcoming homestay hosts. You will have your own room, sometimes with its own en suite bath or shower room. Accommodation is usually on a half board basis (breakfast/dinner). Ken and Mary Penning, who have a grown-up family, are one of our most popular homestay hosts. Based in Cromer, they live in an extremely comfortable detached house within easy walking distance of the town. Home tuition available.

Felmingham Village - Pat & Mick Horn live in a detached house on the outskirts of the village. They have a grown up family and have recently become grandparents. Mick is an abstract artist who has his own studio next to the house and Pat works as a freelance housing consultant. They are interested in a wide range of cultural activities, are very good cooks and thoroughly enjoy the stimulus and company of overseas students. They have facilities for 2 single people or 1 couple and 1 single. Students, in addition to their own bedroom, would have the use of their own bathroom and sitting room. The house is a large Victorian one, with a lovely conservatory (where they often take their meals) overlooking the garden. Bike available.

Ideal for those who want home tuition as Excellence in English can send a teacher to teach you here.

We specialise in homestay accommodation, but can provide details of hotel, guesthouse, pub or bed and breakfast accommodation on request. When you apply, please specify whether you would like a town or country location. All our homestay hosts are regularly inspected and follow a code of good practice. Students are warmly welcomed into these family homes, well looked after and included in many of the family’s social activities. With the chance to participate in this way, students make excellent progress in their speaking skills. Many of our students return to the same family year after year and become firm friends.
